^ hah, exactly...i'm not up on the twilight mod vs. modchip differences, but i think that the twilight mod takes care of just about everything you might want to do with it (including play DVDs, IIRC)

I have heard that some of the newer Twilight Princess games fixed the bug that allowed the homebrew channel to be installed.

would anyone be interested in a modded wii?it has one of the first to come out "wiikey" chips. I have zero use for a gaming console. I have 2 controllers.

if your wii is brand new, there is a great chance that you have one of the boards that has been epoxy protected... nintendo started doing this a few months ago to protect from mods...http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/19/nintendo-thwarting-wii-modders-with-epoxy-locked-chips-wii-back/2

you don't need a modchip. look up iso loaders and see the above twilight princess hack
