i don't have the receipt but optima will still warranty the battery based on the date of manufacture. part of the reason i'm selling it so cheap[Edited on December 4, 2008 at 10:17 PM. Reason : .]

yeah, well that's what we're after... the date of manufacture, or at least a general idea. not necessarily the receipt. that way we know how old it is, how much warranty time is left, etc...

bump for inquiring minds
12/5/2008 2:10:09 PM
cool i'll call optima up and see what it's got left
12/5/2008 7:40:13 PM
based on the manufacture date the battery is out of the replacement warranty but still has a little pro rated warranty left. battery works fine now and i suspect it has plenty of life left. bttt
12/10/2008 12:10:11 PM
BBR can get it
12/10/2008 2:08:22 PM
yeah, based on that i'm gonna have to pass also unless the price gets dropped a lot. thanks for checking though.[Edited on December 11, 2008 at 7:37 AM. Reason : .]

price is now 75$ . or i'll trade for a new(ish) lead acid battery +20$. my gf needs a new battery for her camry figured a battery may not be a bad stocking stuffer.
