12/3/2008 1:52:34 PM
how you got them type r's wired and what config are they?also, did you make that box? and what is it tuned to?
12/3/2008 7:52:39 PM
The Type-R are dual 4 ohm, and wired at two ohm load on two terminals.I did not build the box, but I would guess 35hz as the tuning frequency.
12/3/2008 10:52:58 PM
damni need svc 4 ohm
12/4/2008 4:38:18 AM
^ or dual two ohm
12/4/2008 8:13:12 AM
I'll probably take that boost gauge. I'd like to upgrade my car's stereo, but it's all that proprietary bose powered amp and woofer bullshit.
12/4/2008 9:18:42 AM
It isn't that difficult to bypass the bose stuff in most vehicles.
12/4/2008 2:26:43 PM
^that really depends on the car and what u're trying to replace. most of ther systems are pretty wacky i.e. 1 ohms speakers, indiviual amps ,etc.
12/4/2008 2:52:21 PM
^^^^ I was not aware they made the type r's in dvc 2 ohmeither way, it's a bummercause that's a great price for those subs

Details on #9? What else would i need to install it?
1/24/2009 3:58:23 PM
You would need an amp install kit, at least 8 gauge. Looks like the kits are at least $30. That kind of defeats the purpose of buying a $15 dollar amp. I don't know jack about car audio installation so is there any cheaper way to install than a $30 kit?
1/24/2009 7:57:26 PM
not really, but considering that most run about $80 for the kit, and a couple hundred for the amp, I am not seeing a problem.
1/25/2009 1:10:22 PM
Bump.Give me offers people.
2/4/2009 3:27:41 PM
Would the xplod be a good match for the mtx? and do you happen to have a box for the mtx?
2/4/2009 3:39:22 PM
Yes, the MTX sub and Xplode amp would be a good combo.I have two boxes you can choose from if you buy the sub.
2/4/2009 3:54:37 PM
is that a mechanical boost gauge? do you have the hose and/or tee connector for it. also does it light up at night. thanks.
2/4/2009 6:07:17 PM
Yes, it is a mechanical boost guage. It does light up at night. You can get a 'T' and hose at Advanced for $4.
