11/21/2008 6:48:46 PM
white doesn't show dirt bad, black does
11/21/2008 7:05:39 PM
oh i kinda thought it was the opposite
11/21/2008 7:27:37 PM
i really hope you're trolling
11/21/2008 7:45:41 PM
damn, now DNL is gonna post in the Garage more often because his car gonna start breaking every other day.
11/21/2008 7:48:08 PM
hahahha..gg[Edited on November 21, 2008 at 7:49 PM. Reason : ^^lol about what color makes dirt more obvious? are you trolling with THAT post??]
11/21/2008 7:48:42 PM
i'll just make it short--black shows any and everything, white doesn't show much at all. i really don't know why but it seriously is true.
11/21/2008 7:59:31 PM
thats right, black cars show any dust or dirt. the silver crown vics from the highway patrol hide lots of dirt as well, we have light colored dirt around here.

11/21/2008 10:23:03 PM
Dirt segregation now, dirt segregation forever!
11/21/2008 10:40:52 PM
got the carfax and it seems like its in pretty good shape...out of the 114k miles, only had like 25k of those since march of 2003...and had all kinds of regular maintenance done
11/22/2008 11:28:37 AM
not being driven is as bad or worse for cars like that compared to being driven a lotthey are shitty cars, hope you got it cheap
11/22/2008 11:32:27 AM
after all the doc fees and taxes it came to just over 2200
11/22/2008 11:52:40 AM
Rental car eh?
11/22/2008 12:17:53 PM
11/22/2008 12:32:58 PM
Honestly congrats for getting a car. $2200 is way too much for a 96 Dodge Intrepid that was a former rental car. A quick search on craigslist shows much better stuff out there for less. Good luck, I've had a few Dodge's and there is a reason why they had to go to lifetime warranties to get people to buy their cars.I still own one.

11/22/2008 1:13:07 PM
11/22/2008 1:24:00 PM
hell at least you can go places nownow don't wreck it while drunk
11/22/2008 1:56:03 PM
lol seriously...long as this piece lasts me 12 months i'm happy...with all that the carfax says was done on it i think it will...wtf is up with a document fee being 500 bucks btw?
11/22/2008 2:03:35 PM
that'd be called you being ripped off let me guess..they said it was mandatory and there was no way around it? ..they might have also told you it was one of the lower ones around here..all bullshit[Edited on November 22, 2008 at 2:43 PM. Reason : asdf]
11/22/2008 2:43:28 PM
Srsly DNL you got taken for a bit of a ride in the $$$ department.
11/22/2008 3:07:21 PM
lol 2200 is getting taken for a ride??
11/22/2008 3:40:39 PM
POS and yes you got robbed
11/22/2008 3:47:04 PM
saying you didn't get ripped off because you only spent $2200 is retarded.. you should have paid half that. a grand is a lot of money to most people and i'm sure as hell it is a lot to you too
11/22/2008 3:54:16 PM
but what if it lasts a long time?
11/22/2008 4:00:46 PM
I could sell you a rock that will last for the rest of your life for $2200 but that doesn't mean that it was a good purchase.
11/22/2008 4:08:37 PM
but a rock wont drive me places!! beggers cant be choosers lol]
11/22/2008 4:09:57 PM
Congrats on finally getting a ride, but you definitely paid too much for that vehicle. Most of what is on that Carfax isnt anything special at all. Why didnt you just go private party? Would have gotten a better deal. You arent a beggar if you have $2k cash - and you definitely have options... It just takes a little patience. (Knowledge for next time I guess).
11/22/2008 5:04:07 PM
i guess so...after tax+tags+doc fee it woulda been 6900 if i paid what they originally had it listed for...figured <1/3 of what they were wanting was a good deal but oh well...gonna have a wolfwebber look at it tomorrow]
11/22/2008 5:13:15 PM
i bought my civic for less then that 2 years ago!
11/22/2008 5:19:10 PM
damn less than 2200? what year was it and how good of shape was it in? and haven't the resale values of hondas went up recently or something? thought i heard that]
11/22/2008 5:19:58 PM
lol dnl you might as well have bent the fuck over and let the salesman shove the tailpipe up your ass.. you'd have been better off than wasting 2 grand on this piece of shit that is gonna cost you 5 before you're done with it
11/22/2008 6:14:44 PM
i'm literally shooting for a year(at that point i'll be able to get something much better)if it fucks up before that time i'll def not post about it though ]
11/22/2008 6:18:18 PM
good plan. you'd have been better off with an 80's honda than that damn thing though.ah well. at least it'll get your downy ass to work.[Edited on November 22, 2008 at 6:19 PM. Reason : for a few weeks anyways]
11/22/2008 6:19:30 PM
haha are intrepids like "notoriously shitty" or something? seems to be a pretty good car, and well maintained...not just some piece of shit from a private seller that knows its about to die
11/22/2008 6:25:18 PM
it's not the intrepid..it's Dodge/Chryslerand do you really think a dealer wouldn't sell a car that was about to die just as fast as someone else would?why the hell do you think someone traded that thing in and accepted getting next to nothing for it? yea, that's right..because they knew something was about to go terribly wrong.
11/22/2008 6:40:02 PM
i just figured the sheriffs dept didnt want it anymore...not cause it was about to die =/
11/22/2008 6:43:39 PM
the dealer probably paid $500 for it at the auction
11/22/2008 6:59:34 PM
