esnipe is not quite free. The first few hundred $'s worth of wins is free, but after that you're supposed to paypal them some money. I have probably won $2k+ worth of auctions with eSnipe and I think I've sent them either $15 or $20 over the years. I'm sure I saved more than that on any one of the many auctions I've won through them, so it is well worth it.[Edited on November 21, 2008 at 12:32 AM. Reason : l]

Wow, is this legal, or at least within the ToS?

I still refuse to believe that sniping saves you any money at all. I know it's been discussed to death, but I just don't believe it.

E-snipe. I try not to use it really, I get more of a rush sniping people on my own. It's really not free, either. E-snipe will charge you bid points which you have to buy eventually.Sniping is not only legal on eBay is it encouraged. http://forums.ebay.com/db1/thread.jspa?threadID=42000&tstart=0&mod=1227227397011[Edited on November 21, 2008 at 2:19 AM. Reason : Too bad you can't bid on them][Edited on November 21, 2008 at 2:22 AM. Reason : Snipe on your own at your own risk.]

It definitely saves you money. Too many eBay users sit there plugging in bids until the auction ends instead of just putting in their max bid.
