Kinda late to ask this question, but I was talking with folks at work and apparently I'm the only person that voted for Munger. Please tell me I ain't alone.

If I had it to do over again I would likely vote for him. I just didn't have enough information to make an accurate assessment.

I would have, but I thought it was more important to vote main-party to keep Bev out of office...(didn't work)

^ I can see that. I really wanted to see the Libs kept on the ballot and took a chance. I find the Libertarian Party a bit too extreme for my tastes, but I think getting a few of them into state office would be a good thing. We need people that will consistently vote and advocate the free-market solution to help balance against the more statist elements of the two major parties.

I did a quick post to a listserv im on a couple of weeks ago telling them about Munger.Turns out, apparently all of them voted for him. Amazing what happens when you take the time to introduce someone to a candidate's platform

So would you guys have voted McCrory had you not voted for Munger?
11/6/2008 7:31:44 AM
I voted for him, but not because I want him to be our governor (I dont). I'm hoping the Libertarian party will one day have enough of a minority that the mainstream candidates will have to address issues like Imminent Domain, victimless crimes, and corporate welfare.

i know one of my coworkers did

I wanted to vote Munger, but I voted McCrory in hopes of canceling out some of the straight Dem ticket votes for that cunt Perdue.
11/6/2008 9:16:19 AM
would have, but like the others i had to try to keep the bitch out
11/6/2008 9:23:13 AM
I too played prevent defensive formation on this one and voted McCrory. Though, I really did like Munger after hearing him a couple of times on 101.1
11/6/2008 9:26:22 AM
I voted Munger mainly to keep the libertarians in the mix. Although in the new Obama-world, libertarian principles are being re-tagged as "greedy", "selfish" and politically incorrect.

Apparently, according to a press release by Munger, he got enough votes to keep the LP on the ballot for the first time in NC.So, progress. Slow, grinding progress.
11/6/2008 4:59:08 PM
I voted for Munger.
11/6/2008 5:00:55 PM
voted Munger proudly

Voted Munger.....after hearing the debates didn't think McCrory needed my help

<---- another Munger. Though I seriously considered voting McCrory for the reasons so eloquently explained above, not to mention that I think he'd have done a great job.
