Which should I take?

never took 201, but i took 205 and 202...202 was the easiest...i'd prolly take 205 before 202 though

202 doesn't help me, i need 201/205 for my engineering major.

take 205 with hyman. Make sure you don't get the asian chick lab TA.

you may be able to take ARE 201 for the requirement, I know I can for comp sci

yes, check into taking ARE 201. i'm an ME and i was able to take that instead. it was the easiest class i've taken at state. all you had to do was show up with half a brain of common sense and you could pass.

^ exactly, thats what Dr. Adams (my advisor) told me to take - they have it online and through DE so you dont even have to actually go to class

for my major i could have taken 201 & 202 or just 205

If you're having to check out teachers for EC, just leave college.


EC 201/202/205 are all a cake walk. Take whatever fits your schedule best.

ARE 201 and the EC 201 or whatever equivalent are easy (i don't think you have homework) but 205 is entertaining and i felt like i was learning something (which as soon as i got out of the class i forgot).

i'd take 205 because it's more interesting, but in the end, there is not enough difference between the 2 for it to really matter for an engineering major

go with whatever will best fit your schedule, and either way, the class will be easy
