ok, now that winter time is approaching, the lakes will start freezing up here. ive got some generic hockey skates. I use to roll with a plastic hockey stick (i was never into it)now i want something better, wooden, but i dont wanna spend too much $$. was thinking easton or louisville.

none of those pictured are woodenthey're made of carbon compositeand a good one will run you $170-215

there are cheaper composites that run $80-$130but they're as heavy or heavier than woodthe advantage is that they keep their snap longer and the blades don't absorb watera senior wood or wood/carbon hybrid stick will run you $25-$45fwiw, a good pair of skates is much more important than a good stickjason spezza scores 90 points a year in the NHL with $17 wood sticks from canadian tire ]
