no one does their own maple. they've given the same assignments with different numbers for years. find a friend who kept theirs and follow along with it changing the numbers to yours. maple is worthless anyhow and can't do anything a ti-89 can't do. if you actually want to learn some math software, learn matlab.

^wrong

Maple >Matlab anyday

Maple has helped me a lot, especially in combinatorics.

I don't think anyone outside of the mathematics world would consider this a word.

the last few calc 3 maples have been really easy. All you have to do is figure out the points for the boundaries for x,y,z which are always a combination the points they give you and the equations solved for the variable. Look back over the definitions of Type I,II,III integralz and which are bounded by constants/expressions. Basically figure out which type you need, say x is bounded by expressions start at x=-infinity go in a straight line towards x=+infinity, the first thing you hit is the lower boundary given by either a plane or the other given expression and your exit point is the other plane/given expression. The last two have all been about using solve/implicitplot3d to manipulate 2 or 3 equations for double and triple integrals.

or is it?

my problem is more that i work 40 hours a week, have been out of engineering for more than 4 years and really literally have no time to sit down to figure out some BS program that like's been said my TI89 can't do. the teacher doesn't even mention it in class unless he is reminding us its due. it just seems really superfluous at this point. but i guess its just my tuition money anyhow so its all good.
