I received the iTower speakers from Sharper Image a few years ago as a xmas present and recently the power supply adapter seems to have worn out. When I shake it there is a rattle in the box and the towers no longer power up (they use to go in and out).I'm thinking I will just buy all new speakers but I wanted to see if anyone could provide a reasonably priced solution before I do. Here are the specs for the adapter:Input: 110-240VAC 50/60 HzOutput: +-24VAC 2AModel: CP2420Sharper Image went bankrupt, Radio Shack doesn't carry it, and I can't seem to find anything that would connect to a wall outlet and also to a 4-pin for the speakers. If anyone has ideas that are not obvious to a novice like myself please let me know, I would appreciate it.

http://www.gatecomusa.com/product_info.php?products_id=789or just find another 24v 2a transformer, cut the end off, and solder whatever the connector that goes to the speaker is to the leads]

provide the old power supply and I'll see if I have a spare 24V 2A trafo, splice & solder for, say, 40$ parts and labor
