Is there is a store/shelter/charity in the Triangle that is putting on an event where you bring your dog and dress it up in Halloween costumes they have on hand, take pics, and donate to charity?Every Christmas the SPCA does this with Santa and Christmas outfits.Or does anyone have a costume I can borrow one afternoon for a few pics that would fit an 80lb golden retriever? Thanks!

I've never heard of this before, but it sounds interesting. How do the pictures help charity type organizations? Do they auction them?[Edited on October 15, 2008 at 8:02 AM. Reason : ]

They don't action them - its for your own dog. You can take your own pictures or order from the pro photographer that's there - such as the spca and christmas - they have lots of christmas related costumes/toys/props and then they sit on santas lap for pictures. Then they ask for at least a $10 donation. Of course they have tons of other things there to upsell you on. But just looking for a few pics if anyone has a costume to borrow that'd be great[Edited on October 15, 2008 at 8:10 AM. Reason : .][Edited on October 15, 2008 at 8:10 AM. Reason : .]

Are you sure the SPCA doesn't do this for Halloween? I know they have some sort of event going on there during Halloween...
