Due to way fewer parking passes given out for this game there are hardly any for the State Fairgrounds lot. A lot of people will be asked to park at university club and shuttle to the game with the ones they provide. HOWEVER I would advise all of you who want to park closer, have a tailgate with hardly any police presence, and enjoy yourselfs to either find someone getting rid of one of their lifetime rights parking passes or do what we and a bunch others did for the Wake game 2 years ago and will do again this year. Wendys lot. Open time whenever you feel like it. Also all the businesses will be charging 5 dollars for parking right there. Closer to the stadium, better tailgate, and like I said hardly any police presence. Any questions put em here or message me.

Were there ANY given out for the fairgrounds? It looks like the lot is completely closed off for the fair.

he's talking the wendy's near trinity and edwards mill. you can't park in the grassy lot across from the store or the one that's down the road, so you either have to park along the road and not drink or pay $10 to park at the store on the corner or one of the office complexes. And if your definition of "not hardly any" police presence involves 3-4 cops driving back and forth down the road and cops walking and making people pour out beer on the side walk, then I'd say there isn't much police presence.[Edited on October 14, 2008 at 10:00 PM. i wish NCSU would be smart enough to schedule an away game the week of the fair

^^there actually weren't any cops for the last two games and the grassy areas weren't taped off for BC. Also, they only make you pour out your beer if you are on the sidewalk or the road. If you pay the $10 to park at the office building or the gas station, you can drink all you want.

that's because the espn truck was across from the store. And I've seen plenty of times where they've made people dump it out in that store parking lot which is kinda funny

exactly what I am saying. I went on packpride trying to get some in RBC lot or SE or TX. Everytime there is a fair they have to let people park in that grassy lot because it is a cluster of cars. Im either going to buy a pass or park there. We tailgate there for every bball game anyways...

seriously... the game is a money making machine for the fair.

so..i keep hearing that they handed out three different passes, STUDENT FAIRGROUND LOT, TRINITY, and UNIVERSITY LOT. is that the case? I just dont want to leave at 1:30 for no reason if im already assigned to one of the above.

why dont you just park in the vet school lot where most of the away fans park for our games. or is that used for fair too? Also last time I remember they put everyone behind the horse complex, why was that not the case this year?

They just gave those blue passes to F with people with different names on them. as long as you had a blue pass you could park in the fairgrounds lot. It filled up good. The other lot like a mile away was ridiculous and not worth it. Wendys lot you can park at now BUT "no tailgating" gayest thing I have ever heard.
