Clemson has got a good thing going for them and with the right replacement they could be scary good in the future.

A few possible names that should be looked at for Clemson's New head football coach:

- Mike Leatch (Texas Tech)

- Bud Foster (Virginia Tech)

- Jim Leavitt (South Florida)

- Lane Kiffin (Raiders)

I dont know that Jim Leavitt would leave it in South Florida (punny?) but I would be very interested to see what he could do. He has taken USF from nothing, literally, to a top 25 team in a matter of a few years. He has a strong recruiting base in Florida and could really shine at a school as devoted to football as Clemson

UHHHHHH

BOBBY JOHNSON.

You know, the guy who actually GRADUATED from Clemson and is working miracles at Vandy.

Bobby Johnson

If they can get him to leave Vanderbilt he would be a great fit...went to Clemson...and is starting to have success competing with some SEC teams...and the ACC is easier to compete in

Will Muschamp or Bobby Johnson is who I'd think would be the top candidates.

hmm what about Skip Holtz? i know he just got the extension yada yada... but where would you rather coach?

(i realize he is likely not a big enough name for their expectations)

if tennessee fires fulmer, i could see them going after him.

Bobby johnson makes a lot of sense, obviously.

speaking of clemson alums, they should definitely go after Mike O'cain.

I think you guys are wrong if you think Clemson is going to go after Bobby Johnson

his record at Vanderbilt in 7 years at Vandy

25-50 (11-40 SEC)

has not had a winning season

Horace Grant graduated from Clemson, so he MUST be the next coach

They should let Oliver Purnell coach both teams.
