In Windows Explorer you can pick just about any category to use when sorting files: by name, size, type, date, etc. You can sort by "dimensions," but this always sorts according to the horizontal dimension, and ignores the vertical dimension. Does anybody know of a way to sort by vertical dimension?

change view to Details moderight-click on the categories bar, select More... at the bottomscroll down, check Height, click OKclick on the Height column on the categories bar

Yeah, height doesn't show up for me either for some reason. I'm running XP, does that matter?

All I see is Dimensions, there is not a separate Height field in XP.

Vista supports it.Or get a freeware/shareware image portfolio application that supports it.
