instead of a used 335 or a G37 sedan?
10/7/2008 10:01:34 PM
THAT'S CORRECT$30k for 3xx hp and a 6 speed (nevermind it's a pig)
10/7/2008 10:02:29 PM
It looks very nice. So does the lifetime power train warranty. But the dealers suck ass
10/7/2008 10:07:49 PM
personally i would, but i'm kinda biased since i've had a hard on for them since the concept came out.
10/7/2008 11:22:29 PM
I would, but only if it was black with black rims, limo tint, and some nasty modifications. Stock for stock I'd go with the Bimmer.[Edited on October 7, 2008 at 11:37 PM. Reason : l]
10/7/2008 11:36:38 PM
I wouldn't buy it new. It's going to be a relatively common car with bad gas mileage that will depreciate quickly. You're better off getting a good condition older car that is past the steepest part of its depreciation curve.
10/8/2008 2:59:15 AM
Interesting comparison. I'd probably test drive them both. I like handling though so I'd probably go with the 335i
10/8/2008 7:53:10 AM
335. Was that even a serious question?
10/8/2008 8:07:50 AM
Odly i feel like the bimmer is not the " LOOK AT ME!!!" car here I'd wait for the 335d
10/8/2008 8:12:34 AM
425lb-ft of torque
10/8/2008 8:39:10 AM
well the challenger gets the cool factor, but it will lose races. the 335 with some simple mods will be faaast.
10/8/2008 8:56:44 AM
10/8/2008 8:57:41 AM
what about a challenger R/T with a supachaaga? or a trubo?
10/8/2008 8:59:42 AM
10/8/2008 9:14:34 AM
I'm a fan of it. It seems like it would make an enjoyable DD, especially with the lifetime powertrain warranty. I'd keep it stock (Other than an exhaust) and just drive the fuck out of it.
10/8/2008 9:22:41 AM
fuck no. 335 all the way.
10/8/2008 9:58:56 AM
Yeah, I'd rather havea 335 than a challenger...
10/8/2008 10:05:11 AM
Wont you be paying about $10k more though? Although I guess you could just snag a used one, but you still wont have the unlimited powertrain warranty, which would be nice with a DD.
10/8/2008 10:12:46 AM
i want one.. 1970 please
10/8/2008 10:56:06 AM
10/8/2008 11:02:39 AM
I've had a 05 Ram and my experience with dealers was iffy, especially compared to Infiniti. When is the 335d coming out, and will it cost $50k?
10/8/2008 11:05:07 AM
^^ word joel

is BMW's 4 year no maintenance cost transferable from one owner to another, b/c if so its a no brainer.
10/8/2008 11:23:38 AM
The Challenger does look sweet tho. I think I enjoy looking at cars more than owning them...I get bored with any car after 6 months. I went to a local Dodge and the badger was doing the "we've only got this one in, and who knows when more will come, you should get this one...." routine. I'll take a manual one for a spin when they get one to see how I like it. The car looked RIGHT.
10/8/2008 11:33:07 AM
^ I hate that. It's always a "buy now" pressure. You can always request to order what you want for no extra charge, you just have to wait for it. The dealer locates costs extra though ... You shoulda shot the badger. they aren't even native to this state...

It's for SRT8 only at the momenthttp://www.hennesseyperformance.com/ListItems.php?cart=bHxHPNHR&DoThis=Dodge+Challenger&ActionReq=WhereHowever, couldn't you just use the 5.7 Charger stuff on the challenger?http://www.rpmoutlet.com/300ati.htm
10/8/2008 12:03:13 PM
Ill pass on both and take my car But then again im biased.
10/8/2008 12:20:08 PM
I'd take your carshoehorn that motor in my civic, then scrap the body
10/8/2008 12:42:57 PM
don't most of the hemis blow up do to weird tuning ??
10/8/2008 1:08:54 PM
DO TO AGE?(IT'S "DUE" SON, "DUE")
10/8/2008 1:19:12 PM
do-ly note-ed
10/8/2008 1:50:39 PM
^^^i don't know of any blowing up, at least not regularly. the issue is the code hasn't been cracked on the stock computer, so tuning thus far as been difficult and limited. so, you either band aid it with a piggy back/handheld flash type unit, or spend $texas on a full stand alone.

It is, those tards aren't the only people in the world.
10/8/2008 10:01:34 PM
I think what saabturbo meant to say is.It is if you're a tard.
10/9/2008 12:55:23 AM
Yes, I agree! The 335i is the only choice, if you're a tard.
10/9/2008 1:41:50 AM
Civic EX , Chevy Cobalt, or 135iI cant decide.
10/9/2008 7:28:15 AM
obviously the Civic EX. Gas mileage FTW!
10/9/2008 7:58:29 AM
the chevy cobalt xfE has the best fuel economy in its class![Edited on October 9, 2008 at 8:02 AM. Reason : .]
10/9/2008 8:02:16 AM
I love how Chevy made a "fuel economy" model by giving the car a taller final drive and lower rolling resistance tires. Thats amazing stuff!
10/9/2008 8:40:55 AM
10/9/2008 12:56:13 PM
^easy on the sweeping generalizations
10/9/2008 1:06:12 PM
^^ See, that's what is pathetic about people like you. You're so superficial that you think everyone defines themselves by their car. You obviously do since you think like that, which is (As I just said) pathetic. A car rarely says more than the fact that the driver of said car liked said car it enough to buy it (Or lease it), or they're borrowing it, or it was given to them, etc. People who define themselves by what they drive are absolutely pathetic. That's why you'd apparently be embarrassed to be seen driving a corvette while I could care less. It's all about whether or not someone enjoys the car, not what you think the car says about them.[Edited on October 9, 2008 at 1:24 PM. Reason : ]
10/9/2008 1:23:18 PM
Can I help it if I like quality and aesthetics over garbage?Even I know that a 335i is a much nicer car than an Evo. If i had the choice back then I would have gone with the 335i. There is a distinct difference right down to the details between BMW or most German automotive manufacturers vs. domestic/Japanese econo boxes. You can call it status all you want but that's just because you're ignorant and think a Dodge is the better choice.
