Yeah but since there is more than one bent... I'm willing to be you bent them @ wot and then fatigued them @70 mph cruise until one let go.

similar happened to my car... it was mis shifted on a drag pass, drive fine the next pass, then it blew on the following pass, mid gear. oil starvation sucks. did you mis shift, over rev at any time?what do yer bearings look like?[Edited on October 7, 2008 at 1:37 PM. Reason : ]

^all bearings checked out fine except for the main bearing in the bottom left pic. And just that half; the top half looked fine. There were bits of metal shavings on the both of them.never mis-shifted this car at this power level other than a handful of times in easy driving where it bounced me off of a gear. Over rev? Yeah, if you mean bouncing off the limiter, ha! If you mean, putting it into 2nd gear at 80mph, then no.
