exam #1 is monday and i'm debating on whether to take 1. hard-copy exam in class like any other class (obviously, 1 submission, get partial credit)2. proctored webassign exam (you get 2 submissions no partial credit after 2nd attempt)if anybody has taken sandberg or just w.e let me know what you think.[Edited on September 26, 2008 at 8:42 PM. If you are comfortable with webassign on the homework, then I'd suggest the computer based test. The questions are very similar to the homework problems when you take the test on the computer (not that they aren't as similar on paper, but sometimes they feel different when you look at them on paper)

^ that's what i was told too. she said if you KNOW you're chem then go with webassign, otherwise do it in class.

I took Dr. Sandberg's CH221 and CH223 courses. I took the first exam in CH221 via paper and every other exam for both courses on webassign. I highly, highly suggest webassign exams. Think about it: you get the majority of your practice in the course via webassign, so completing your exam on webassign is the best logical choice since it most closely mirrors your study setting. The mechanisms are where you would get most of your partial credit and thats done via paper whether you do the test on webassign or not, so don't let partial credit be a big deterrent. A lot of my peers shared the same thoughts about this.

I made no grades less than 102 on the proctored exam and nothing less than 95 on paper. I'd go with the computer ones, because you can catch typo's on that one.[Edited on September 29, 2008 at 11:43 PM. Reason : a]
