for example, i'll talk to someone new in class at the start of the semester and they just assume i'm a dumbfuck. then they ask me what i got on the first test or something and are all . some folks have even told me shit like "man, i didn't think you'd do that good"

I don't act stuck up in public, but I gotta admit I love hanging out with other engineers. Then you can talk about how engineers are the master race and everyone else is worthless. In my experience, 90% of engineers feel that way but don't discuss it around lay people

i don't. at my internship this summer, i worked side-by-side, sweating my ass off with some of those lay people who will have to implement the changes and designs i come up with. i have the utmost respect for them. they always amaze me with what they can make possible.

i mean, i listen to music in the truck, but i don't really buy music. download a lot of old stuff. country and classic rock. (omg stereotype) listen to my mp3 player some, but mainly just for my bus ride and wasting time on campus. it's a lot of 80s and 90s country and classic rock. some southern rock of course
