since I am going to be selling my S-10, I needed a replacement. Also needed towing capacity, but diesels arent quite cheap enough yet... so got me a lil f250.

I know right, who the fuck designed these 7 lug wheels anyhow? I am straight piping this beast tomorrow, was gonna get a loud muffler but might have to spend the $$ on a new cat. The current one is rattling so bad Jenn thought it was a diesel.

I dont give a damn about no inspection, hell it just passed last week anyhow. I cant think of any reason to spend money on a flowmaster though when I can straight pipe it an be as loud.

big thanks to Ron at RJ's Custom Piping in Raleigh for the exhaust work too, I towed the S10 up there with the Ford, and he cut me a very nice deal on some very nice work.

Behind the Carmax and Jiffy Lube on Capital- in the old Triumph Auto Glass location. Stop by and see if Ron can handle 4in- I wouldnt be surprised if he can. He is good, got a nice mandrel bender too, welds like a robot, can TIG too... He built the crossover and everything by hand on my truck. He can do custom intercooler piping, custom CAIs, even roll cages, or even just replacement mufflers. Pricing is very fair for the quality too. On my S-10 I got a flowmaster copy installed for $75. Clayton Tire wanted $90 for a stock replacement muffler.

nah, should be a sterling 9.75. standard f150 unit as far as i know, just bastard shafts for the odd lug pattern and possibly slightly larger brakes?

it MIGHT be a bastard version of the 10.25 or 10.50, but i really doubt it. semi floating, right? those things were basically f150's. slight differences in the frame, suspension, and brakes. mostly it was just a marketing "filler" until the new super duty came.

read it in the manual, 10.25 trac-lok. takes almost a gallon of gear oil, you can see the huge rear end in the pic of the exhaust work above.
