I need one. For my Accord. Cheap. Don't give a shit if it's high-performance, high-flow, high-dolla, high-falutin' and all that jazz. Because my bitch ass gotta EAT, nikkas. And I gotta get the car inspected.Yes, the dreaded P0420 code.On another note...anybody ever try spraying out a cat with solvent or high pressure water?

i would try solvent before high pressure wateryoud probably blow all the internals out with the water

spark plug defoulers work for some people.. [Edited on September 4, 2008 at 12:56 PM. Reason : if visual inspection isnt really an issue ]

ebay for real
9/4/2008 12:56:53 PM
how the hell did it clog up already? is it burning that much oil?
9/4/2008 1:16:53 PM
naw...the thing hardly uses any oil. 134k miles on 'er tho. 5w20 Mobil 1 changed every 15k miles, rarely have to add any either. How do ya like THEM apples? LAWL.Just holding the code. Of course I did ride around for about 30k miles with the CEL on with a code P1157 (air/fuel ratio sensor; car uses a wideband sensor upstream). Replaced the upstream sensor, and no more P1157. Now I have a code P0420.Of course, if I had half a brain, I shoulda replaced the downstream sensor too. Could be that's fouled. Helluva lot easier to replace, and cheap too (standard platinum/ceramic heated sensor).

gut the cat and get an o2 simulator
9/4/2008 2:21:28 PM
^^Joel, I can pull the ECM fuse and it'll clear in 30 minutes. I need to try it again, because I replaced the upstream sensor about 3 or 4k ago.

I was gonna ask you front or back again, then remembered you have the 4cyl.
