just wondering how long topics have to be in the forums to actually show up when you search for them... seems like quite a while like sometimes i'd want to find a topic i posted in one or two weeks ago but it wont show up when i do a search for it.is there anything you can do to sorta speed up the process? it'd be great if you could even make the newest of topics show up in search results

i've searched before for old threads when i knew exactly what the word was and it doesn't come up.i have had to do half a dozen searches to find one thread. and when i find it, i check again and realize that the word i originally searched for WAS in there, but it never came back.

ive had the same problem.....i will search for the exact name of the thread, and it wont come up as a result.....eventually, after going through every thread i find it, exactly as i had typed in the search engine.

brand new stuff isn't going to show up because the full-text index population only runs once every 3 weeks. it takes forever to run.can you guys that are having trouble finding old threads provide an example search that doesn't work? I haven't ever had a problem...
