1995 Ford F150 regular cab short bed 4x4. 207K miles. 5.0 V8, Automatic transmission, manual shift transfer case, warn manual hubs. Power windows and locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, a/c (not blowing cold), cloth seats, factory clearance lights, tow package, sliding rear window, toolbox, cd player. The good: same owner since 1999 with 52K on it. very well maintained, hardly ever used to pull anything, paint is in great shape, runs and drives well, extremely clean interior. The bad: the rear main engine oil seal is leaking, it needs some minor exhaust work, a/c is not blowing cold, it has some minor body damage on the passenger side, it will need a set of tires soon.I'm in Alabama right now, but the truck is in New Hill. Call or e-mail Scott at knotyoars@hotmail.com or call 919-796-5730 to look at it, PM me with other questions. ]

9/9/2008 5:08:42 PM
good opening bid, but no
9/9/2008 6:26:51 PM
? thats all the money in a clean 95 ford f150 that needs tires and an AC system. seriously.

Kelly Blue Book puts my truck at $2900 in fair condition, that is my opening request. I'm negotiable and can have the A/C fixed and tires installed (you provide) if that is a condition of the sale. None of that takes $1400 off the price of the truck.

I mean KBB is not really accurate on a vehicle more than ten years old. It says my 97 Land Rover is worth $6,000 and it is worth maybe $2500. It said my 87 Jeep was worth $1200 and I sold it for $1500 (all stock). It says pretty much any SUV on the market is worth way more than anyone will pay right now. It is definitely a good looking truck and looks like it has been taken care of. It also needs work and has very high miles.

Sharp truck, good luck with your sale
9/10/2008 10:34:12 AM
^^ well with working AC and a fixed rear main seal, would $2000 be legit?
9/10/2008 8:26:24 PM
^ if you found some decent, matching, used tires and installed them, yes.
9/11/2008 2:09:22 AM
dropped to $2400. Will consider trade for mid 70s 2WD F-series.
9/26/2008 9:45:04 PM
Man now I put that money toward a credit card. ]
9/27/2008 1:14:10 PM

How bad is the main seal leaking? They're not cheap, but they can go for years before it gets bad enough to worry about sometimes.
10/7/2008 1:04:08 PM
Not real sure, I haven't been around the truck since June. Call the guy I listed in the original post and he can give you an idea of how bad it is. If you want it fixed, let me know, and I'll see what I can do about that too.

I also have photographic evidence that it was signed by Cooter from the Dukes of Hazzard bttt anyway

This thread isn't looking too good. Just sell me that LWRC for $1k and keep your truck for another year or two.
10/12/2008 10:49:00 PM
Yeah, I know. The LWRC is on Auction Arms, closes next Sunday. I'll probably wind up getting more for it than I do for this.
10/13/2008 11:12:25 AM
