I have no clue where to post. My car got hit&run at the parking lot of IVY Common Apartment. I believe it happened after 10pm of Thursday AUG 28. I found out that my car has been hit and moved 45 degree angle in the morning (around 8am) of Friday AUG 29 (see the foto). Police report¬e has been left on the windshield indicated that my car has been hit with no suspect and dated at Aug 28 (no time report). I have no idea who called the police for this incident and I believe this incident probably happened after midnight. it s clearly to be either resident or guest there. my car got struck real hard, and it moved about 45 degree angle, twisted wheels , broken tail lights, hanging down bumper . The bodyshop estimated about $1500 for fixing this. yeah . i got insurance but i still have to pay the deductible with no choice.

Put a note by the mailbox asking anybody with information to come forward. Everybody goes out by those every now and then. Whoever saw it may feel compelled to act.

That certainly looks like a possibility. Can you determine from the damage whether it was likely hit by something car-height (damage concentrated on the lower part of the body) or by something tall with a flat nose?

Hah, reminds me of that drunk bitch a few years ago at UHouse that came through the entrance early morning at the garbage compactor and took the turn over the speed bump at 45 mph. She fucking t-boned two cars on the end and left hers all up on the bushes. That shit was loud.

Sorry to hear that. My neighbor did the same thing to me...not as bad as your damage though...but it was a hit and run...so we had to call the police on that fucker. I couldn't believe they left....they live right across the street.

That does look like a very hard hit. The garbage truck looks like a possibility, since the dumpsters are right behind your car. What day and time is garbage dumped there? But... maybe not, because you saw it at 8am on Friday, and think it happened between 10pm and 12am on Thursday... there's no way they dump trash that time of day. The idea of posting a reward notice by the mailboxes is the best idea so far, besides putting out flyers on each car.
