So I was talking with my Physics 212 teacher today and he informed me that his exams will be the same as another professors who is also teaching PY 212 this semester. I wasn't thinking and forgot to ask, but does the physics department use common exams for all students in the PY 212 course? Also, does anyone know of any really good tutors for physics? I have no problem with difficult classes, but lets just say, I'm physics "handicapped".

I took both PY211 and PY212 last fall / this spring-- none of the instructors for any of the sections used common exams. But things may be different starting this semester... I'm not really sure. If that's the case then its a new policy.[Edited on August 26, 2008 at 2:09 AM. Reason : .]

No, no common exam. If there were, it'd be posted on the registration and records exams site. I'm betting the instructor is new and doesn't really know what you're talking about...Vladimirov perhaps?

I've got the other new teacher. I actually haven't asked him, I was just assuming that we had a common exam because my friend took PY 208 in 2002 and they had common exams at that time.
