nice dude. i liked the BMW but it felt like you were paying a significant premium over other cars in the same cars. Not an issue if you are a baller but it is one in an entry-level position

Those are about the only BMW's I could ever see myself in. 335 coupe, maybe 135. But that must've been close to $40k.

I considered a 2006 330i. Though it has 10K more miles and cost $2K more then my audi; it did have the premium package with a nice system.

.9% financing was the deal maker. made it about the same price as buying a year old one.and there's always the possibility of dropping $2500 to add another 100hp...

I remember buying a $35k car a few months after graduation, and realizing about 2 years later that $800 a month in TCO was not worth it. but i'm glad i got that out of my system

If you're including gas in that TCO, that's not all that bad...I'm hitting about $700/month and I paid ~20K out the door. Of course, for me about $300 of that is in gas costs. If that's just for payment/insurance, ouch!
