It has fallen off the mechanism inside the door, so it continually falls down into the door unless I duct tape it around the top of the door frame . When it broke last year, I remember the mechanic estimating some giant dollar amount, that I couldn't afford, to fix it. How much might one of the resident TWW mechanics charge me to get inside the door to put it back on the track or at least improvise something so I can get rid of the tape? It's a 1996 Buick Regal.

There's already a lot of 'fun' quirks with this damn car. A quarter of the time, the door handle is jammed and I have to climb in from the passenger side. I guess one more couldn't hurt, unless you actually broke the door off. Then we might have some issues.
