Nickel Creek isn't exactly "bluegrass" in the truest sense.

There is no reason not to bring a tent to shakori hills ... it's free to camp out, and you can catch the morning bands for free ... (If you're just a little dishonest) ... fun for all, and close.

For those that play, there are bluegrass jams every Saturday from 10 to 12, if you're willing to drive 45 min.

On the first and third Saturdays they have a jam at Reno/Sharp Store in Goldston (Hwy 87, 15 min south of Pittsboro). The first Saturday is old time gospel.

The second and forth Saturdays of the month they play at Bynum Store - 15/501 5 min North of Pittsboro.

Fun for All ....

I'm getting my ticket this week - early bird special ends on the 17th.

Anyone want to plan to camp together?
