it'd be the best trade ever. total win for The Eagles too. if only for another 2 years. Favre is an all-time great.
7/23/2008 12:21:26 PM
I don't know who's behind Amsterdam these days, but could you give it back to the original folks? You kinda suck.
7/23/2008 12:24:09 PM
why would this not be a good trade?
7/23/2008 1:10:00 PM
because the packers have a quarterback. what they needs is a pass rushing end.
7/23/2008 1:11:05 PM
wow...
7/23/2008 1:24:13 PM
the packers don't want the guy. they're phoning everywhere trying to get a trade for the guy.
7/23/2008 1:29:27 PM
ibtl
7/23/2008 5:24:43 PM
i have a bad feeling he is going to be playing in Atlanta this season
7/23/2008 5:25:52 PM
actually apparently Favre is phoning everywhere.and I think he would best fit in Minn. or Carolina
7/23/2008 5:27:51 PM
That can only help the Panthers chances! 3 TD, 47 interceptions, 16 painkiller prescriptions![Edited on July 23, 2008 at 5:28 PM. Reason : ^^]
7/23/2008 5:28:20 PM
well you know Green Bay doesn't want him in the NFC North...but it seems like Atlanta would be the 2nd best fit behind the Packers just because he's already played there...start with one team, ball out with another team, finish your career with your first team...all while throwing all over the Panthers twice a year
7/23/2008 5:29:33 PM
I keep hearing about TB being in the running for Brett...I just don't see it...maybe I am slow. III
7/23/2008 5:35:01 PM
there's no goddamned way the packers would trade him to minn.
7/23/2008 5:39:39 PM
Gruden was Favre's QB coach sometime in the early 90s in Green Bay so theres the linkbut they have Garcia, who isnt great, but isnt horrible, and Gruden SEEMS like the type of person who would want to avoid the media circus which will inevitably follow Favre wherever he goes]
7/23/2008 5:40:05 PM
I could see ATL happening...You go with this terrible image of being associated with Vick, to actually having a QB who is loved by the masses, and can probably still play... Win-win situaiton for the falcons if you ask me
7/23/2008 5:41:38 PM
I think he wants to play, but god why in atlanta?Thats the worst job in the league. The ONLY benefit is its in the worst conference. 9 wins in the NFC south wins division.
7/23/2008 5:45:13 PM
Yeah I knew Gruden was his old QB coach, I just don't see Favre coming to GB knocking out Garcia and Simms (assuming Simms stays). Favre to ATL is what I have been thinking, let him finish where he started. He will suck there lol with the lack of quality WR and the only real threat Crumpler is gone.I just don't see GB trading Favre to Minn. One of the last things they want to do. III
7/23/2008 5:46:05 PM
7/23/2008 5:46:44 PM
he sucks ASS in domes.Thats why I think these fits are all crap. There isn't a single team in the NFL that is a good QB away from a Superbowl outside of the vikings. They get considered for this just because the NFC sucks that bad.
7/23/2008 5:51:43 PM
the Bears made it to the Superbowl 2 years ago with a HORRIBLE quarterback
7/23/2008 5:54:25 PM
oh . . . green bay has a quarterback. scratch the Eagles. trade him to the Oakland Raiders. that's be pretty gangster actually.
7/23/2008 5:55:10 PM
^^What is your point? The sky is blue.
7/23/2008 6:54:09 PM
7/23/2008 7:01:51 PM
I would say the reason the Vikings fit the role more-so than the Bears is just overall talent. The Bears are lacking at WR, RB, and their D isn't what it use to be. The Bears use to be the elite class of D's in the league but now they're not even top 5 with players leaving and contract issues popping up.The Vikings are questionable at WR but have potential, the running game is one of the best in the league, and their D is top 5 D(especially looking at turnovers).
7/23/2008 7:07:35 PM
^^Redskins wont get out of their own conferenceJaguars wont get past the colts or patriots.Bears , lol, come on guys
7/23/2008 7:16:26 PM
the Bears defense isnt as good as it was a couple years ago but its still good...and the Vikings are lacking in WRs themselves, and lets not forget that Peterson's two best games were in the first quarter of the season and he got banged up and only got like 300 yards during the last half of the season...and yeah Taylor is a good back, and they have a good defense, but I'd definitely say the Bears or Skins or Jags could all potentially make a Superbowl with Favre at the helm if they got their chemistry down early enough^explain to me the runaway favorite in the NFC that Washington couldnt get by if the Skins had Favre?[Edited on July 23, 2008 at 7:18 PM. Reason : .]
7/23/2008 7:16:47 PM
thats the point.there is no runaway favorite, and def not any with favre.
7/23/2008 8:47:43 PM
I wouldn't mind to see him with the Texans. They have a star WR and some solid back-ups. Running game is iffy at best but the D is young and getting better. Only problem is whether he could hold up behind that OL.[Edited on July 23, 2008 at 9:00 PM. Reason : .]
7/23/2008 9:00:20 PM
they have a qb and one they think is going to be pretty good.needs to be a team that isn't rebuilding, and sucks at qb. teams aren't going to upgrade to favre if it is a marginal upgrade.

7/23/2008 10:43:47 PM
7/24/2008 12:16:02 AM
he'd do ok at the Rams, Bills, Jets and even the Panthers.his best fit is Minnesota IF Green Bay doesnt want him, because Green Bay is where he fits best no doubt.he would even do well with the Chiefs
7/24/2008 12:38:18 AM
Panthers are too confident in TD JakeI still think he makes the most sense on Baltimore
7/24/2008 12:39:16 AM
where he'd have to play over and Boller and Troy Smith? he's at BEST 2nd string there again competing for the spot with an olddd reciever in Mason i dunno, i dont see it as good of a fit.Green Bay makes the most sense.
7/24/2008 12:41:52 AM
I have to disagree and say he easily starts over Boller and Troy Smith...Flacco tooThey are an old as fuck team and want to win now...Favre would give them a much better shot at doing that than any of the aforementioned
7/24/2008 12:44:00 AM
my list in order would beGreen Bay, Minnesota, New York Jets, Kansas City and Carolina[Edited on July 24, 2008 at 1:01 AM. Reason : k]
7/24/2008 1:00:52 AM
^^^ Wait wait wait... you're saying the guy who threw for 4155 yards, 28 TD's and completed 66% of his passes last year would be a backup to Kyle Boller and Troy Smith? What The Fuck? The guy was an MVP runner-up, and had one of his best seasons in his illustrious, hall-of-fame career. Its either Tampa, Baltimore or retirement. The only other possibility is if an established starter gets a season-ending injury in preseason. There is just no way he goes to a division rival, and theres no way he reconciles with GB at this point.[Edited on July 24, 2008 at 1:06 AM. Reason : 2]
7/24/2008 1:03:49 AM
never said that, i saiddddddddddd going INTO camp he would be behind them...not that he couldnt pass them quicklydont put words in my mouththe Ravens arent interested anyways, they havent expressed interest at least, seems Flacco is their main guy at the moment.i never said he wouldnt START over them thowell i never said the word camp, but thats what i meant[Edited on July 24, 2008 at 1:06 AM. There's a whole lot of dumb going on in this thread.
7/24/2008 1:09:17 AM

Favre is an awesome pick for anybody. He'll drive ticket sales and TV alone. not to mention when a couple of games. he was awesome last year. i think he'd make the playoffs again with the Packers pretty easily.
