^ That one is good, but the one you made with the white wine was beter, imo.

This is a great "fast" sangria recipe...something to make on the fly if you don't have any time (also really easy to make).1/2 bottle of red wine (or white)Couple ounces of following juices:CranberryOJPineapple2 oz BrandyTop off with Sprite (usually about 5 oz)Then mix (pouring back and forth in between pitchers)Makes about 5 or 6 rocks glasses worth of sangria. (glasses being filled with ice and fruit). I usually put a lime slice, orange slice, and cherry in the bottom of each rocks glass that is being used.Really tasty and easy recipe.[Edited on July 18, 2008 at 12:43 PM. Reason : .]

Carlo Rossi sells a wine called "Sangria" in a jug. A large one is $10, and its good. Just get that and add fruit.

^^Bubbles??You can use the booze at your discretion. There's a decent amount of booze compared to the rest of the liquids in the recipe (5-6 ozs of juice and 5-6 ozs of sprite compared to half a bottle of wine and 2 oz of brandy). I might tend to overpour a little with the brandy and be a little generous with the wine...but its a recipe for a reason. Too much of any of the ingredients alters the taste. Its a recipe I used at wine bar I worked at and never had a dissatisfied customer. Got a lot of surprised bar patrons when they learned that it was made on the spot.

Use Chianti (Italian Red wine) instead of a merlot. The boldness of the Chianti goes well to offset the sweetness of the OJ, Brandy, and dash of sprite. It's such an easy drink to make....In fact, adding Cherry Juice or Pineapple juice (just a splash) really kicks the flavor up a notch.
