Anybody know if they are any good? I think apple has some pretty decent deals. I'm looking to get an Ipod Touch (refebished). http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?sf=wHF2F2PHCCCX72KDY&nclm=FD5142C7

i'd do it. i buy refurbished stuff from tiger direct all the time and it works like new and its half the cost. and alot of the replacements you get for cell phones are refurbished too ... i never can tell the difference.

I bought a refurbished Mac mini a year and a half ago. I think I saved $120, and it's been a solid little machine. My next computer will definitely come from Apple's refurbished site.

if the orig. company is offering them with the orig. warranty, hell yes.

the only real difference of what a refurbished unit is that it was once in the market in the hands of the consumer and returned back to the manufacturer. It actually doesn't have to be bought and returned, just a store returns it. They recheck to make sure it passes quality checks then resold for refurb prices. Most other companies offer much lower warranty, limited documentation or customer service support, but more and more are fixing and reselling referb equipment for lower price.

A good friend of mine got one for his girlfriend... then for himself. Got killer deals on BOTH and neither have had a single issue since buying them over 3 months ago.
