having all the walls in a 1445 sq. ft. house painted within the next couple of weeks. Searched the boards and didn't find any helpful threads. If you have a painter you'd recommend I'd appreciate your recommendation.

Do you have some seriously high walls that are out of reach? If not you'd save a ton of money just doing it yourself.

But if you don't want to do it yourself, you don't want to do it, so that's all good.

I haven't used him...I just thought of that thread. I've got some painting that I need to get done, but I haven't gotten around to cleaning out the rooms and getting them ready for paint.

I got two quotes today, one for $1200.00 and one for $1350.00, both of which are for the entire house, three bedrooms, 2.5 bath, office, kitchen, dining area. It's a good time to hire painters, they really need work, and are easy to bargain with. I'm actually going with the more expensive one because it's a large crew that can finish in 1 day, and a family member who is in construction uses them and highly recommends them.
