I currently have an old Samsung I730 running Windows Mobile 2003. It's starting to give out on me (freezing up & randomly cutting off without my knowing). I can't afford to miss phone calls at work so it's time to get something else. I'm with Verizon and will be staying with Verizon also. What I like about the i730:- Activesync updating my emails, contacts, & to-do lists.- ability to access some of my work files (Inspection lists, inventory, etc.)- internet of courseWhat I don't like:- the touchscreen's vague-ness. Pressing the email slot may open Outlook or it may open the time utility- battery life kinda sucks- no GPS (I'd love to be able to use it as a navi w/ Google Maps)- I use very little of it's "capabilities"- I can't choose how my fucking contacts are listed (i.e. first name first or nickname rather than last name first)What I need:- good battery life (I think this shouldn't be too much of a problem. I just want to get rid of the 3 batteries I pack when travelling)- ability to view (edit would be a bonus but not necessary) Excel, Word, & Acrobat documents- Internet- good signal strength (not much of an issue but my parents live in a dead zone for my 730)- email- ability to STORE above documents & view them (oddly, I was told that's not possible with BB's?)In addition, it'd be nice if it has GPS capabilities so that I can download google maps or something similar and use it for navigation (I drive a lot and I don't like keeping my blackbird in the car for thieves to see). Anyway, I'm looking at the following right now but feel free to throw some more out there:-Blackberry Curve (document capabilities are my main worry. Internet browsing HAS been updated to html now, right? I hate text-based browsing)-Samsung I760 (our Account manager at Verizon mentioned a lot of complaints with the touchscreen)-XV6900 (not sure on the Mogul, seems to get really great and really bad reviews, don't know if extra $$ is worth it)Any recommendations?

that's why they pay the bill every month & paid for my laptop. The phone is up to me unless I want just a run of the mill phone which doesn't work well for me since I'm out of the office too often (job sites, warehouse, inspections, & travel).

but if you cant do your job with a regular phone, then they need to step up and buy it

I can do my job. This makes it easier. I'm more than happy not having to pay my $130 phone bill every month, not having to worry about buying a new laptop every year, & not paying for my own gas. I'm more than happy to spend $200 on a phone that will make my life easier. Thanks for your concern but I'm trying to get some recommendations on a new phone, not have someone tell me that my company is lacking in what they provide.
