I heard about this. I'd been counting on switching to SERO when my contract is up in September. I'm going to try my damndest with retentions to get something similar to old SERO plan. They don't need to know that I don't really intend to switch to ATT just to have an iphone

just go into a sprint store and chat up one of the reps there. when you take their business card with the email address on it see if they don't mind giving you their ID too? Retentions switched my 2 line account to a sero plan with some random email I found. (Granted it was before this rumored switch, but usually they don't let you keep your number) So maybe you will get lucky. They better not fuck with my plan.

BIS is the proprietary internet service that gives you access to BB email and the BB web browser. Without it, you would have to use opera mobile and GMail instead of the integrated apps. For most people with Blackberries it is worth it.

Oh WOW. I'm sooo glad I switched to SERO a while ago, even if I did just smash my HTC Touch's screen. (Phone insurance FTW!)

well, fuck sprint...the SERO plan was the ONLY reason to have sprint in the first place (for $30, i'd put up with a crappy network and even crappier customer service)...now they can't even offer a good deal...i guess they're REALLY counting on the instinct to draw customers now
7/12/2008 6:35:05 PM
I would love to get the instinct...but not at those prices.
7/12/2008 6:50:13 PM
i thought the SERO plan was $99or was that the price of the instinct with the plan?
7/12/2008 6:53:33 PM
That was the Everything plan.
7/12/2008 6:54:30 PM
read: 'SERO Everything' identical plans, who were they fooling?

^ well, yeah...at&t blows donkey balls, but they know that if you want the latest phones and/or GSM, you have no choice but to go with them...if you want to compare CDMA carriers, sprint is by far the worst of the big three (well, 2, now...and we'll see what happens come january)
