So recently over the last couple of weeks, my computer has been randomly restarting on me.Today, it crashed and stayed off, and now when I try to turn it on the fans turn on for half a second then it cuts back off. I haven't been able to turn it back on since.I don't know if I can test either, because my old ps/mobo had a 20 pin connection.

I had a prob sim to this on the x's pc..... bought a new power supply, still crashed. Determined it was the mobo..... too old to fix, so we built a newer one....

Any way to test which one it is that doesn't involve buying something? If it's probably the mobo I may just grab a cheap one like this until I can get together the funds for a new PC.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138077R

^ With a multimeter you can rule out the power supply. To test the memory you need another system, if only for a few minutes.
