good / better / best ??
7/8/2008 8:07:29 AM
probably cause tww is low-class (good, better, best)maybe you shouldn't be so snooty in your search requests
7/8/2008 8:07:42 AM
Put best in quotation marks
7/8/2008 8:43:01 AM
^i shouldn't have to use quotation marks for one word.that's silly!
7/8/2008 9:45:32 AM
clearly there were not many hits for "best" so it used ~synonyms. pretty cool feature if you ask me.[Edited on July 8, 2008 at 8:36 PM. Reason : ]

what's funny is that it didnt find any of the threads with best in it on the first page at the time.if it used a synonym it should be both the synonym list and the original search string, not excluding the search string

whine when it works - whine when it doesn't
7/8/2008 9:50:18 PM
i'm not whining, i just think it's a bug.I try to constructively point them out in order to provide a better user experience.know what i mean
7/8/2008 9:52:11 PM
^ They don't know what you mean. Constructive criticism is a fairly foreign concept on TWW.
7/11/2008 10:22:01 AM
nah, it's pretty common actually. they just don't do a god damn thing about italthough it has gotten SLIGHTLY better as of late.. but not really

You know, some kind of date constraint is long overdue. The Wolf Web is mad old with some mad old threads.[Edited on August 3, 2010 at 2:27 PM. Reason : believe that]
