ive contacted Piedmont plastics, just waiting on a return call. most likely i would have to buy a whole sheet (4'X8'). I probably should, but right now i just need a small piece, no more than like 1'X1'. not sure if they will have scraps or anything. but they sure dont have any in stock when i called the charlotte branch and asked (they are headquarters).its a long shot. any of you guys know where i can get some?a lot of these plastic companies around the US have scraps, but they want me to come in and pick some up. i guess it isnt worth their shipping.... or they have to do like $50-100 minimum order.a 1'X1' is like $1.50 or something.

ill pretty much look into any thermoplastic really..someone offer some suggestions on something to heat up to soften (like in oven, or water), easy enough for a patient to do it. so i can take a mold of a hand or foot. not trying to get real specific on the detail of the mold, just a general shape.

Raleigh Plastics & Fiberglasshttp://maps.google.com/maps?rls=com.microsoft:*&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&um=1&q=plastic+and+fiberglass&near=Raleigh,+N+Carolina&fb=1&view=text&latlng=15219985414217790183It's inside the beltline on capital blvd. You can buy sheets and scrap from them. They have scrap up front, and almost guraranteed they'll have something close to 1x1' that you can cut down, and it will only be a couple of bucks, if that.
