Check this out. Its a friend of mine's rather ambitious and interesting project.

1st gen RX7 chassis w/ roll cage
Ford 302
Custom front SLA front suspension (converted from struts)
Lots of other cool shit

I considered doing that a few months ago. Already had the engine, even tried to buy some rx-7 candidates.

Building a dune buggy instead.

nice project.. i didnt really like how there were so few pics of the overall project. it took me a few mins to even figure out what it was and the projects page and goals page weren't what i was expecting

just saying.. if you hadn't spelled it out in your post and i had just stumbled across the site, i wouldn't have had a clue how cool it was bc i wouldn't have spent the time searching to figure out what it was
