I've heard a bunch of people say clutch fan instead of fan clutch. It's like they looked at the description on a box from the parts store and didn't see the comma.

One evening while my wife and I were browsing on craigslist, we were cracking up about someone calling their ottoman an "automan".

Had a fella come in one day askin' for a "harmonical balancer" for his Datsun pickup. Told him he'd have to hit the junkyard or some places will rebuild the one you have. Some can even be had new, but not from us.

He said, "what the hell you talkin' about? *insert exhaust shop name here* said I could get that harmonical balancer, or I fergit what he called the damn thing, HERE. You know, that thing down there by the muffler."

Yeah. Catalytic converter. Dipshit.

I spell tyres more than tires now with all the F1 magazines and such that I read. And Firefox underlines tyres in red too.

I call that little metal rods that come with my 240sx's factory 3-piece carjack setup "tire rods." One has a flathead shape on one end and a T-shape on the other end to hook to the actual jack. The other hooks to that rod and also is the lug-nut remover. No idea why I decided to call them that.

Also, I hate using that jack
