through out his 2 terms in the illinois state house and 3/4 term in the senate

As I understand it this person is still going to vote for him at the convention, just not endorse him prior.

I applaud the guy. If you are a democrat why should you be forced to fall in party line into supporting a candidate you do not like. Statistically it is assumptive that you would support your parties candidate but i find nothing wrong if on occasion have no problem showing some political balls enough to say you like the candidate of the other side or you disagree with something your parties person did. This applies to both sides of the aisle esp. to repubs in congress blindly following bush before they lost the majority in the 06 election.

i wondered why they said kansas was a toss up til i read the other day how they split up electorial votes all funky

I totally agree that politicians shouldn't be bound to supporting their party's leader against their will. That's why I'm OK with this:

RACISTASFUCK

I have much more respect for someone who will disagree with the party line than for blind followers. If the guy doesn't want to support Obama, you have to respect him for saying so. The same goes for the Republicans who don't support McCain.
6/14/2008 11:44:19 PM
how bout the dem from wisconsin that went from supporting hillary to saying she will now vote mccain...doubt you will find many liberals that will bring that one up...
6/14/2008 11:46:25 PM
crossing party lines is pretty cliche.
6/15/2008 12:51:54 PM
look where it got McCain. The media practically fawned over him.NOw all that's gone. It's like in high school. McCain got a chance to make new friends with the cool kids and left his true buddies behind for the spotlight... until his usefulness was over and the cool kids dropped him like a bad habit forcing him to come back to his old friends with his tail between his leg begging for forgiveness...except many in the GOP aren't going to forgive.

wtf

yeah it just seems like theres a double standard...at least in my opinion...seems like the media is all the time like "welll rabble rabble rabble, we dont support mccain" but you never really hear how some dems dont support obama
6/16/2008 7:46:38 PM
^damn good point, and probably because they are scared of sounding racist (both the people that think this way and the news media if they were to cover it)
6/16/2008 8:26:18 PM
I LOVE THE LIBERAL MEDIA
6/16/2008 10:00:13 PM
^^^ That's because there are more repubs not supporting 'cain that dems not supporting O'bama.
6/16/2008 10:35:20 PM

6/16/2008 10:36:41 PM
