My gf has four fish to give away. Two are the goldfish shown here:One is a orange oranda and one is a black and orange fancy long finned. There is also an albino cory cat and a gray cory cat. They all gotta go together because they're friends.Come get 'em.

I found out that if you give those two goldfish a 20 gallon tank and keep them healthy and they can live for 10-20 years. When I was a kid I thought my goldfish that lived to be 3 was old. [Edited on June 13, 2008 at 10:54 PM. Reason : really just an informative bump]

^ a 20 gallon tank is really way too small to keep fish that can potentially grow to a foot long. its like cramming you in a bathtub and telling you to live there. and yes, all members of the carp family are long lived if properly cared for.

how are you going to have a pet and then feed it to your cat.next time do the fish a favor and buy a pet rock instead, that way when you are done with it you can throw it away
