My AC started blowing out hot air. I noticed the AC condenser fan stopped working at the same time, so I replaced it. The fan is working now, but still no cold air. I checked the freon and the pressure is fine. Seems like the compresser is turning on fine when I turn on the AC. Since the AC condeser fan went out, could that have messed up something else? What else could it be?

if the compressor is running, and the lines going to the evaporator are cool, then your damper or control is screwed up

So, you think its a coincidence that the AC condenser fan was not working? I was thinking since that was out, then it caused something else to go out or burn up. I don't know

So, I dropped it off at pep boys and they said it's the compresser, but the evaporator may have to be replaced also, so I'm looking at $600-$2000...damn, I might want to sell this car
