So now that the candidates have been chosen and its come down to GWBII vs a communist, we can finally but a value on our time spent researching the candidates.

Currently my boss is willing to spend about $40 to get a few minutes of my time to explain why he thinks I should vote for Obama. I'm thinking it may require a bit more "time" for him to properly persuade me.

I am certainly open to lobbying from other entities, though, and with that in mind I would like to open this thread for trading.

This is illegal. Didn't someone from state recently get in legal trouble for putting their vote up on ebay?

It would be illegal to sell my vote, but its certainly not illegal to pay me for my time in order to explain why I should vote for your candidate. After all theres no guarantee I'll vote for your candidate, I'm just a very busy person and my time has worth.

My time is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. Currently its worth $40 for 5 minutes, but if there is significant demand I may increase the price.
