Ok, here's the situation:

I have two hard drives laying around that I'd like to get some use out of. What I'm looking for is some attachment that will let me convert this SATA HD connection to USB/FireWire, but I don't want to buy an enclosure because all I need to do is get some data off of a few HDs.

So basically I need something that will hook up a SATA hard drive to power as well as convert it to USB or Firewire (firewire is preferred, but USB is fine too). I can't use eSATA bc I'm working on a laptop.

Are there any products out there that will do this? Thanks in advance.
