I just recently purchased a "open box" home theater system at best buy and its missing two of the cables to hook up the surround sound speakers. I didn't realize it at the time, but you have to have special connectors to hook up the speaker wire to the dvd player/tuner...Does anyone have any clue as to where i could pick up a couple of these. I found some on ebay but im not really willing to pay $40 to replace each speaker wire since i really only need two of the connectors. Anyways, on ebay they were listed as 4.2 mm sony/samsung wire connectors. Any help would be appreciated.

just take some masking tape and wrap it around the wire until its about the same size as the connector, and shove it in.

I had this same issue when I bought an open box sony system. Just remember that there are 2 kinds of connectors for the sony products. One is wider than the other one. They have both kinds on ebay, thats where I ended up getting them from, it worked fine.
