Anyone ever take EC 301 H? Just found out that I can graduate with econ. honors, which I'm assuming would look great for a good grad school, if I take EC 490 H and two out of these four options EC 301H, EC 302H, a Faculty Initiated Honors Option EC Course, or a 500 level EC course.

I'm sitting at 18 hours with some pretty tough classes but am more than a semester ahead as far as hours go so I'm thinking of dropping my lit. class just so I don't stress myself out and can concentrate on getting a good GPA.

i did the honors program in econ. took 301h - grennes, 302h - mcelroy, 490h w/ an honors contract - margolis.

301h w/ grennes was boring, just didnt like his lecture style. but the class was pretty interesting because he did a lot of current events, had us read a book during the semester for 1/3 of our grade, and didnt make it all textbook work. and it was like 8 people.

302h w/ mcelroy was awesome, one of the main reasons i switched from a minor to double major. take him if you can. smaller class, but still not tiny.

490h w/ margolis was cool. i would recommend taking him you can.

301/302 honors will be beneficial because i think those are typically, or at least more likely to be taught by grad students instead. 490 you will have a good professor. and, on a side note, take any class with lee craig if you can. you could probably make something with him into an honors class.
