Hows it going. I have an 02 VW Golf and I might go insane. Turned the radio off yesterday. Went to turn it back on last night and it wouldnt come on. The security led light by the volume knob is blinking -- so the radio has power, but it wont respond to anything. I had some 4 numbered code in my manual and I punched that in but no luck. It said that when I press buttons it should enter safe mode and I can just enter the code in. Unfortunately it seems dead to the world except for the led blinking light. Any thoughts?

Check the fust for the radio. Just because the light is blinking does not mean the radio is getting power.

Your radio will stay on 88.x if it is in safe mode, and then you have to enter the radio code.

One you check the fuse, then let me know.
