Hey. Ive been looking around for a decent course to play thats within 20 at most. Just an average course with average greens fees would be fine. Also, does anyone know the closest driving range? Im incredibly lazy but am getting really sick of that astro turf putting by Carmichael when I want a quick fix.

RGA is the closest prolly thats within a decent price and all, its right by campus on Tryonthe closest range may be out in Garner or the one behind the mens club, i like it best because you can get multiple buckets and they have no clue.knights play is also fairly close and cheap, i hate it tho because its a par 3, but it has a driving rangejust google golf raleigh nc and see what comes up

wildwood is pretty good and fairly inexpensive. there's another driving range off falls of neuse rd. right before 540 that i go to sometimes.

There is a pretty decent range called 401 Golf I think is the name....they also have a par 3 course. It is down Fayetteville Road south of campus.

There's a range at the end of yonkers road at New Bern Ave with a huge awning in case it's super hot or raining and it's probably the closest/ the only one I know of inside the beltline. I think it's called Capitol Tee. I like Crooked Creek out near holly springs and fuquay as far as courses go, all the others closer are either crappy or overpriced.
