it's the same thing, only if you call it "for system builders" then people stop asking you what OEM stands for.

^ ah... one of those things.so say i had this friend who wanted to install a 64 bit vista home premium "for system builders" version on a still-in-the-works build and i.... i mean he, has only installed osystems a couple of times using the reinstallation cd that came with the pc. would i tell him to go for it its not hard you can figure it out its pretty much the same or.. save your money to get a retail?

it's exactly the same as the retail versionexcept the oem/SB edition was meant to be purchased by OEMs and preinstalled on end user machinesit installs the exact same way, the only difference is the keys aren't interchangable
