Yeah I will. Flight was $360. Rental car + gasoline + tolls = about $370, lol.

Drive Friday: 11:30pm - 7:00am - No traffic, easy as shit drive

Drive Sunday: 1:30pm - 11:30pm - Nightmare return drive. Too many fuckers on the road, and lots and LOTS of rain.

Did the Springfield Construction fuck up your return up there? I ended up getting off I-95 in Virginia at exit 160 and taking back roads to Northern Va.

The drive back was rough. I had to pull over and puke...in front of the National Holocaust Museum!

^^^Yeah I was really busy, I told Karen I'd see her but I didn't I was pretty busy with my bro since I was there for his graduation.

^^Hey I was at Napper Tandy's longer than that, I actually came twice, with EV and farmhouse in between.

^I'm not really sure, I started hitting bad traffic around exit 84, I got off and took Hwy-301 for a while (like 90 miles)

Whew...been there done that in terms of driving.

In Nov., me and another guy went to Miami to cover the State/Miami football game.

Left on Friday morning, came back on Sunday morning.

Talk about a lot of driving.

I went to the Tangerine Bowl my junior year (i think) and drove down the night before the game... got really drunk that night after arriving. Went to the game the next day, drank some more beforehand, then drove (I was sober) all the way back right after the game... and it was during the week where I worked like 60-70 hours at Honeybaked Ham b/c it was Xmas.. ugh... I think I threw up in the bathroom at work but I can't remember..

^ ha... I'm sure that isn't the reason... My office admin tries to get everyone to "go green" and even puts public transportation ads in the office... it actually annoys me.. I'm supposed to feel bad b/c I like to drive to work? I think not..

[Edited on May 14, 2008 at 11:35 PM. Reason : antonio bryant dickslapped the entire NC State team that game..]

i once did 1300 miles in one sitting stopping for gas and fast food only. orlando, fl to boston, ma. 20 hours or so. slept about 2 hours in a rest area and finished the final 300 miles to bar harbor, me. i've done several other 800-1000 mile trips in one day as well.

hell, just for you pat i've done raleigh-south orange-raleigh in one day when some of my family was moving down here. in a u-haul truck.

on multi day "recreational" road trips, i try to do 500-600 miles if there's things to stop and see/do. 800 or so if it's just driving. people hate riding with me, but they get to see more and get places faster than they would otherwise so it evens out.

This is NYC you'd think thats the case. Unfortunately my company relocated to an area of Eastern Queens 3 miles from the nearest subway line. So I do drive to work, but believe me I wish I didn't. (I've tried the subway + bus combo, but takes 1 1/2 hrs to go 8 miles FUCK that).

So boo on my company.

IMPRESSIVE Ivan!

i did 24 hours straight, just to one up ya

charlotte to Massachusetts and back straight.. stopped at the 12 hour mark and slept for about an hour and a half then hauled ass. i was riding with somebody on the way up there but i drove the whole way, bought a car up there and drove all the way back

i was fucked for like a week after that

95 SOUTH! WOO WOO.

Ahh, driving to and fro Connecticut. The asphalt warms my hart....

...but driving on the fsking Turnpike cools it.

Friday was a mess with all the rain and accidents. 10 mile delay on the Turnpike. Saturday I had to stop like 4 times to piss or get coffee.
