Pretty far off, but apparently with the positive feedback of Iron Man they are planning an Avengers movie down the line after first introducing the characters in their own movies.Also...a Spiderman 4!?...

On the topic of Spider-Man 4... I just realized something about comic book based super hero movies that have this many sequels. The first two are good. The third sucks. The fourth is atrocious.Superman 1 and 2: Generally well received, a little cheesy but yeah good movies.Superman 3: wtf? Tar makes Superman evil?Superman 4: At least Lex Luthor is back, but Nuclear Man? come on...Batman and Batman Returns: Also done very well, all the actors as well as Tim Burton were greatBatman Forever: Jim Carrey was awesome and Nicole Kidman was hot. That was about all that was good about the movie.Batman and Robin: Do I really need to go into detail about this one?Spider-Man 1 and 2: Both awesome, Spider-Man 2 is seen by many as being THE best comic book superhero movie out there.Spider-Man 3: Everyone hated itSpider-Man 4: Well... we'll see

I thought X-Men 3 was at least decent. Not the best, but it could have been much worse. Spiderman 3 was horrible. It was just way too ambitious and fell far short of what it was trying to achieve. Batman 3 could be attributed to Tim Burton not directing. I don't know though. Batman 4 was fucking retarded.

Oh yes, I forgot X-Men, I knew I forgot something.

^^ Christopher Walken's character was Max Schreck, and he was a businessman, not a lawyer.I thought Spiderman 3 was great. People who can't appreciate it are looking for far too much in a comic movie directed by Sam Raimi.

Really? I think most of us were just wishing it would be on par with Spiderman 2. Instead, it went all emo and straight into the crapper.

Concerning superhero sequels, Marvel's changing the game.

Marvel did not make the Spider-Man, X-Men, Blade, or the first Hulk movies. That's why they turned out shitty. The spider-man costume has the raised webbings so they could avoid the copyright issues on the suit's image. As it stands, Marvel cannot make a movie for X-Men or Spider-Man because they do not have the rights to them. This is why there is a new Hulk movie coming out. The first one sucked such bad nuts that Marvel was able to buy back the rights to creating a movie based on the Hulk and make their own....at least, that's what my friend told me
